This is because the alcohol in beer dilates your blood vessels, helping blood travel throughout your body. 

While this is a great benefit, it’s important to note that it only applies to light and moderate drinkers. In fact, heavy drinking leads to a higher risk of heart disease and other severe health conditions, so make sure to avoid that.
